Vintage Toy Cash Register – Plastic Children’s Play Store Register with Crank

$15.00

This item is a vintage plastic toy cash register, designed as a children’s play store or pretend shopping register. The colorful design features a classic mechanical style with bright yellow, red, green, and blue plastic components.

The register includes three push buttons labeled 5, 10, and 25, representing common coin values used in play transactions. Illustrated product windows above the buttons show small icons such as a teddy bear, apple, and ice cream cone, adding a playful grocery store theme.

A manual crank handle on the side operates the register mechanism, and the front drawer area simulates a coin tray where children could store play money or coins. The register also features a small display window showing “NO SALE”, similar to real mechanical registers.

Toys like this were commonly produced from the 1960s through the 1980s and were popular for imaginative play that mimicked grocery store or market checkout counters.

Condition:
The toy shows visible play wear and cosmetic scuffing, including worn decals and surface marks consistent with age and use. Mechanical functionality has not been tested. Please review photos carefully for overall condition.

This piece would make a great addition to a vintage toy collection, retro toy display, or nostalgic décor featuring classic children's toys.
