Schlitz Vintage Lighted Beer Sign Motion Fireworks Display Bar Advertising
This vintage Schlitz lighted advertising display sign features a decorative illuminated fireworks scene behind glass along with the iconic SCHLITZ beer brand name across the front panel. The design includes a faux woodgrain front with raised gold lettering and a cream-colored canopy top that frames the display window.
Inside the display window is a fireworks-style graphic pattern that was originally designed to illuminate when powered, creating a festive sparkling effect that highlighted the Schlitz brand name. This type of electric bar display was commonly used in taverns, bars, and liquor stores as countertop advertising for beer brands during the mid to late 20th century.
The unit is labeled on the back as designed and produced by Display Corp., Milwaukee, and carries a Manufacturer’s Electronics Inc. listing label for an electric sign. The metal base houses the internal lighting components and power cord.
Condition appears vintage and pre-owned. Cosmetic wear is present including light scuffs, dust, and age-related wear consistent with older bar display advertising pieces. Based on testing, the light does not currently power on, and the unit should be considered non-working or for repair/restoration. The structural components, housing, and display window remain intact.
